The most important accomplishment of the week is that we now have our own email domain! I can be reached at [email protected] and my fellow students can be reached at their respective emails as well.
Setting up Google Apps for Education was not too time-consuming, and I am just finishing working out the details with Google now. Why is this important? By setting up Google Apps for Education in conjunction with our Google domain, it adds a level of professionalism to the class and allows students to keep HelpDesk information separate from personal information.

I also spent a little time talking to the class about the importance of redirects and how they can be used on a website (such as this blog) in order to help the user navigate the website and keep them from getting frustrated at broken links. Try my redirect page here.
I concluded my tech analysis on Windows 10 for both personal and educational use and I am very proud of my hard work on it. I also continued my work renovating the NHS website (behind the scenes) as well as the HelpDesk main website.
I spent time outside of class trying to finalize the Google domain setup, but I am still waiting for a response from Google. Overall, an amazing week!
